Soprano Deanna Holland, senior voice performance major at the Hampton School, chose the text that Dan Bukvich employed when composing this work that was premiered on Ms. Holland's senior recital in the Spring of 1997. Originally for soprano with piano accompaniment, “Four Phrases from Psalm 91” now has additional settings: piano and four part chorus, soprano and orchestral winds and four part chorus.
