| Program Notes: | "Song of the River" is one of Bukvich's African inspired pieces. He refers to it as "pseudo-African," or as his version of what African choral music with percussion might sound like. It was written for open enrollment choir and was an exercise in developing his writing using primary triads and a simple diatonic melody. |
