An updated biography and photo were posted on the Biographical Info. page. We hope to do some more site updates soon. They are long overdue. Thank you for your patience…

ChoralWeb is no longer publishing any of Dan's music (they are no longer in business). We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused for directors trying to purchase music.

6/30/2004

We have obviously not updated the site - sorry! It's on the schedule for the summer… ;)

Some updates were made today concerning Phoebus Publications. There were two pieces that they carry that weren't on the web site: Gypsies (for solo flute) and Casco Bay (for wind band). I (the webmaster) need to get more information from Dan about these pieces to add to the web site. Also, the phone number for Phoebus has been added to all pieces that are published by them (920-231-9231). The other pieces that are available through Phoebus are: Dinosaurs, Hymn of St. Francis, Song Suite for Band, and Surprise, Pattern, Illusion.

An audio CD of "The Glittering Hill" (a suite for orchestra and chorus about Butte, Montana) was produced in July of 2002. It is now available through BOOKPEOPLE of Moscow, Inc. - Moscow, Idaho (208)882-7957 FAX: (208)883-4347 Email: bookpeople@moscow.com Web site: www.bookpeople.net Hours: 9 am to 8 pm PST, Monday–Sunday.

The artwork used in "The Glittering Hill" audio CD was produced in conjunction with an ongoing multi-media project that was launched by a group of students at the University of Idaho. The group was one of many who participated in a Visual Information Design class taught by faculty from the University of Idaho's Department of Art and Design (UI Information Design Group - Jill Dacey, director). The class was funded under an Idaho State Board of Education (SBOE) Technology Grant, Jill Dacey PI. Members participating in the project were Ludmilla Saskova (group leader), Jeff Gray, Ashley Horrall, and Susan Weaver.
