We have recently added Dan's piece called, "How Birds Can Take Their Own Portraits" for flute choir and percussion. It was originally commissioned and performed by the Ohio State University Flute Troupe. Thank you, Professor Katherine Borst Jones of Ohio State, for providing us with a recording of the piece!

Dan will be in Seattle directing a special concert featuring Catholic High School choirs at Benaroya Hall. He is bringing several University of Idaho percussionists to accompany the choir and they will be performing a number of his pieces. The concert is on Monday, February 7, 2011, 7:00 p.m. and is presented by the Seattle Catholic Archdiocese. Tickets may be purchased through the Seattle Symphony. All seats are general admission. “Tower of the Winds” has been added with audio files - there is an added MP4 video file of that piece performed by the Johnson Band at the University of New Hampshire Summer Youth Music School.
